With the COMAN Suite, we are introducing a new product. This is a step that at first glance appears to be particularly relevant for new customers.
But as is so often the case:
It's not what's new that counts.
But what it makes possible in the system.
It is therefore worth taking a closer look, especially for experienced COMAN users.
The COMAN Suite is a template-based software suite built on COMAN Mobile as its core.
The idea behind it:
Log in.
Select a project template.
Start working straight away.
Instead of configuring each project individually, predefined project templates are available that specify the scope of functions and structure.
To start with, there is only one template available: Defect Management.
Additional templates, such as those for digital acceptance or certification processes, are already in the works. However, this also means that, for the time being, the COMAN Suite can only be used for defect management - at a deliberately limited level with few configuration options.

The COMAN Suite is not a replacement for existing COMAN solutions.
It is a new way of setting up projects.
The COMAN Suite reduces functionalities and restricts configuration options on purpose. Not to restrict possibilities - but to make it easier for new users to get started.
Beginners in particular benefit from clear structures, predefined templates and a focused range of functions. This makes day-to-day work quicker to understand and easier to master.
As an experienced user, you can already take advantage of COMAN's complete flexibility, customize projects and derive added value from them. The COMAN Suite in its current form is therefore primarily aimed at beginners - but its configuration options will grow in the future.
In a nutshell:
👉 Not much at first - at least not directly.
If you are currently working with the COMAN Manager, the mobile app or the dashboard, you are already using COMAN at a very high level.
The COMAN Suite does not replace this way of working.
Nor should it.
The real added value lies elsewhere.
To make the COMAN Suite possible at all, we have fundamentally developed the core of the COMAN software.
These changes are not a feature update.
They are structural preparations.
A key result of this work are the new admin settings, which significantly simplifies user and rights management:
What used to be complex and time-consuming is now much more streamlined.
The COMAN Suite is available as a subscription model.
To make this possible, a far-reaching conversion of the backend was necessary.
This conversion creates the basis for
Today, the COMAN Manager is still required for many fundamental changes.
In the future, this is exactly what should become easier.
Even if you don't currently need the COMAN Suite, you will benefit from precisely these changes in the medium and long term:
